My tax filling is usually very complex with a variety of forms required. With this in mind to avoid errors, I have always entrusted this annual ordeal to a professional Tax filling agent. I work full time for a company, I have a photo business I occasionally run at weekends and in addition, I own rental properties.
I have used the same agent continually for the past 15 years and I must admit, over the years they did quite a decent job of applying the laws ensuring my tax burden is not over what is due to me.
Three years ago, due to economic reasons, one of my rental properties had to undergo a “short sale”. This literally made my tax situation extremely difficult.
